摘要
The last wills of the great noble lineages in the Hispanic sphere, since the Middle Ages, were characterized by the use of the will as the instrument of ordering not only earthly, but also spiritual aspects. By granting it, the way of dying and being buried was established, in addition to seeking divine salvation and satisfying the inheritance of one's own. The Mendoza family, in its main branch of the Infantado, stood out for the importance they showed in the idea of death, funeral and burial, hence, thanks to the study and analysis of their wills, we can understand the conception of death through his last and most intimate desires.
