摘要
Temporal visual attention levels and directional bias are evaluated using behavioural responses and microsaccade (MS) frequency measurements taken during a dual task. The behavioural responses were analysed, and the directional bias in the peripheral field of vision extracted using a modelling technique. The observed MS frequency recorded every 0.5 seconds was applied to a state-space modelling technique to extract visual attention levels. The optimised modelling results contribute to the accuracy of the responses and to the estimated levels of attention resources. Also, the positional bias of the resource levels in the peripheral field of vision changes in response to the clusters of the behavioural responses.
