摘要
Numerous techniques have been implemented to calculate the synchronous machines' inertia and accurately assess it. Many use machine model simulation and offer a means of knowing the machines' inertia. This paper provides a novel strategy for estimating the synchronous machine's inertia online using PMU measurements. This proposal is based on the Teager-Kaiser energy operator used to identify the time of disturbances and the ARMAX method for estimating inertia.
