摘要
This study aimed to examine the "breakdown strength" and "dielectric properties" of ester base liquid MIDEL 7131 (MIDEL Ltd), mineral transformer oil (Grosvenor Oil Service), Diala D (Shell Ltd), and THESO insulating oil (Tetra Corp.) that were subjected to three different aging conditions. The dielectric properties of thermally aged insulating oils with copper and without copper have been tested. Therefore, the effect of copper as a catalyst on dielectric properties of insulating oils used in transformer was also examined. After analyzing the effect of copper on dielectric properties of insulating oils used in transformers, it indicated that the dielectric properties of oils has changed due to aging with copper.
