摘要
Simulation software is an important platform of finding results to be expected from a practical hardware setup, which is costly and tedious to modify frequently. There are many Network Simulators in the communication world, and because of the large differences in operating system, hardware requirements, programming software requirements and scalability; it is very difficult to choose the right simulator for a particular task. This study introduces comparison of results of NS3 and NS2 for analyzing four Mobile Ad hoc routing protocols, which are DSDV, AODV, DSR, and OLSR by means of Packet Delivery Ratio, Throughput, Average end to end delay and energy.
