Phase diagram and ground state of the decorated Ising model on a triangular lattice with first neighbor antiferromagnetic and second neighbor ferromagnetic interactions

The static critical behavior of the two-dimensional decorated antiferromagnetic Ising model on a triangular lattice is investigated using computational physics methods. The antiferromagnetic exchange interaction of the first nearest neighbors and the ferromagnetic exchange interaction of the next nearest neighbors are both considered for nodal spins. We determine the ground state of the model, compute the critical temperatures, and plot a phase diagram for different values of Jd. Decoration has been shown to result in new phases and frustrating effects.
