摘要
Different synthetic routes and structures of several nickel(II) and zinc(II) complexes with several diamine-based N4 donor bis-pyridine and N6 donor tris-pyridine Schiff base ligands have been gathered. Their structures and magnetic properties have been discussed in detail. In the mononuclear complexes nickel(II) and zinc(II) are showing octahedral and distorted square pyramidal geometry. The applications of the complexes have also been included in the review. It is noteworthy that only those complexes are considered in this review whose X-ray structures are available.
