This essay considers the first mediators of Anglo-Irish literature in Italy during the first half of 20th century, focusing on Antonio Bibbo's recent book Irish Literature in Italy in the Era of the World Wars and assessing its place in the broad perspective of << Global Irish Studies >> and its contribution to research into the formation of the canon of foreign literature in Italy.
