摘要
There are endless numbers of investigations that a student can be exposed to in the science classroom. Regardless of the investigation, students may sometimes be asked to construct a scientific explanation of a phenomenon or research question. One style students may use to write their response integrates the claim, evidence, and reasoning framework. As students learn to write in this style, it is important that they are provided with supports such as organizers. While many organizers exist, there are some additions that can be made to improve on the student's experience. This article shares an example of a CER organizer that others can use and modify in their own classrooms. Rationale for its design is also provided.
