摘要
We have innovatively reengineered the Co3O4 electrode by integrating the bulk heterojunction (BH) concept. This approach involves the use of poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) (PVDF-HFP) as an electrolyte, embedding Co3O4 and a conductive agent to enhance electrochemical interactions with lithium (Li). By substituting N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone with acetone in the electrode's composition, we significantly improved the speed of electrode formation. The BH methodology has proven effective in augmenting the access of Li to Co3O4, with PVDF-HFP serving a dual role as both electrolyte and binder. This dual functionality facilitates more efficient electrochemical reactions. We explored varying the proportions of PVDF-HFP, cobalt (II,III) oxide, and carbon black, revealing the potential of the BH concept for enhancing the capacity of Li-batteries and offering avenues for customizing high-rate battery performance.
