On 17 –21 July 2023, more than 3,000 engineers, geoscientists, and remote sensing enthusiasts from around the world congregated in Pasadena, California, for the 2023 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS). The Inspire, Develop, Empower, and Advance (IDEA) Committee led a series of impactful events throughout the week-long conference, centering on themes of driving transformation, along with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE & I), within the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS).
