摘要
Photocatalytic technology has the advantages of environmental friendliness, low energy consumption, and fast reaction speed, which can be applied in the field of visible light mercury removal. High stability and narrow bandgap are fundamental factors for ideal semiconductor photocatalysts. A novel method of hydrothermal synthesis of CQDs/2D-BWO composite catalyst to improve the oxidation efficiency of elemental mercury was proposed. The morphology, physicochemical properties, and optical performance of the materials were fully characterized. The experiment of Hg oxidation efficiency under visible light showed that C-2/2D-BWO exhibited a Hg removal efficiency of was as high as 86.3 % under visible light and adequate cyclic stability. The effects of SO2 and NO on Hg oxidation were also studied, and the reasons for the improved of photocatalytic activity of CQDs on 2D-BWO were analyzed based on DFT calculations. The reaction mechanism of the catalytic oxidation of Hg by C-2/2D-BWO was proposed, and C-2/2D-BWO was found to be an efficient and stable visible light catalyst.
