This study analyses the influence of the burlesque poetry developed in Italy in the 16th century on the later Spanish literature. For that purpose, as a reference we take authors from the so-called Bernese school and the Spanish Golden Age most important poets, which work revolves around the parodic representation of women and the female figure.
