摘要
This article presents the outcomes on the process of adapting and validating the questionnaire for the study of Digital Competence of Students in Higher Education measurement instrument (CDAES by its abbreviation in Spanish) to the Colombian population. The questionnaire was first reviewed and adjusted by a research team composed of five university professors with experience in digital learning; after that, it was evaluated by two experts in digital competences; and then, applied to a sample of 103 students from different undergraduate programs in online modality of a higher education institution. The results of the statistical validation present positive indicators for each of the six dimensions evaluated that are considered sufficiently comprehensive. Thus, the conclusion is that implementing the instrument is adequate for the Colombian population, so the questionnaire is suitable for measuring digital competencies of university students, determining the causes of the digital divide, and favoring its reduction.
