摘要
This paper aims to create a retrospective report on Toledo's cathedral museistic and touristic management. In order to achieve that, reading the primatial chapter's bylaws was key, as well as consulting the chapter meeting records for references of tourism between 1900 and 1936. Thanks to that it becomes possible to understand the touristic professionalization of the chapter after the opening of the Cathedral's Museum. This paper tries to shed light on how the chapter managed itineraries, prices, cultural dissemination or exhibitions. Setting off this process entailed plenty of problems that allowed the chapter to accomplish certain experience and learnings whose benefits affected positively the temple and its cultural heritage, hence distancing from the economic crisis inherited from the ecclesiastical confiscations and the tithe's suppression.
