Innovative processes to support information management: an analysis of the strategic planning of the Federal Police considering aspects of organizational culture.

摘要
Introduction: the study analyzes the Strategic Planning of the Federal Police, from the perspective of innovation as a support tool for the improvement of informational processes, seeking to provide an overview of the concepts and main implications in the context of Innovation Systems. We seek to approach theoretical aspects of the informational cycle combined with empirical experiences of a multidisciplinary nature of police activity. The text assumes that the use of information and data by the police is the main raw material of police work. Method: the methodology used proved to be predominantly qualitative with an exploratory character, based on bibliographic research, in addition to considerations about the author's professional experience. Results: in the final considerations, the main challenges of public security related to the use of information were pointed out. Conclusions: we conclude that the construction of a Strategic Planning coherent with the reality and institutional principles appears as a driving tool for innovative processes, especially those related to information management, and may be an alternative that results in improvements in performance and strengthening of the organizational culture.
