Another proof of a theorem of Caviglia and De Stefani concerning the Eisenbud-Green-Harris conjecture

We give another proof of the theorem of Caviglia and De Stefani about the Eisenbud-Green-Harris Conjecture. Our method uses the fact that the conjecure is true when each polynomial of the regular sequence splits into linear factors.
