摘要
This article aims to identify research trends on the relationship between conservation, education, and development in geoparks based on a bibliometric study. The methodological approach is based on an analysis of 406 scientific publications on the topic of study. These documents were obtained from a search equation used in the Scopus database. The search period was between 2003 and 2022. Among the results, it is found that there has been a growth in the subject matter in the last years, with important peaks of production in the years 2019 and 2021. In addition, authors from China and Poland appear as the most productive. Among the main results, the preference for publications in journals associated with geoparks stands out. China stands out as the most productive country with the highest impact on the topic. Among the main research trends, it was found that Geotourism and geological heritage contribute a large part to the discussions on the subject. It is integrated with sustainable development as a meeting point between education, conservation, and development.
