THE GREEN BONDS AND THE GOALS OF SUSTENTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: A VIABLE MEANS TO FOMENTATION OF SUSTEINABLE FAMILY AGRICULTURE IN BRAZIL

This article discuss the possibility of using green bonds as a way to promote sustainable family agriculture, in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to which Brazil has made a commiment to pursue since the signing of 2016 Paris Agreement. This work aims to analyse the viability of using green bonds as a way to promote sustainable family agriculture, seeking to achieve the objectives of sustainable agriculture proposed by SDG number 2 of 2030 Agenda. The specific objectives are to present a concept of sustainable agriculture, specificate the procedure of green bond emissions and demonstrate the viability of using these green bonds by the family rural producer as a way of promoting its production utilizing sustainable tech-niques. As for the methodology applied, it was used an inductive approach at the investiga -tive phase, while for the data treatment phase employed the Cartesian method. lhe research has confirmed the initial hypothesis that, yes, it is viable the using of green bonds as a way to promote sustainable family agriculture and instrumentalize the Sustainable Development Goals.
