POLICE TRAINING IN ACADEPOL/SC: TRACES OF HISTORYAND EDUCATIONAL IMPLICATIONS

摘要
The present article proposes to contextualize, historically, the police training at the Civil Police Academy of Santa Catarina, bringing to analysis the continuation of a master's research defended in the Postgraduate Program in Education of the University of the extreme south of Santa Catarina (UNESC), in 2013, about the first female police officers in training and professional practice at the Civil Police Academy of Santa Catarina. The text was dedicated to analyzing the history of the Police School and some formative implications over the years. The methodological construction is limited to a qualitative research using the analysis of documents from the ACADEPOL/SC collection, providing an understanding directed to the Civil Police of the State of Santa Catarina and the understanding of the dynamics of public security institutions, as well as understanding the process of current training of these professionals, based on the National Curriculum Matrix (MCN). It is also a bibliographic study, which was built based on the writings of Foucault (2008), Novoa (1995, 2019) and Poncioni (2005), in addition to other authors. The study is relevant in the area of education in Public Security, since the historical contextualization of educational institutions, more specifically of institutions that train security professionals, contribute to the understanding and interpretation of the social and educational processes built and present in the course of police training.
