摘要
PurposeThe vibration isolation performance of a novel graded wave-impeding block (WIB) was studied under various train loads.MethodsLarge-scale indoor model tests were conducted to simulate the train motion vibration, and the vibration isolation performance between a novel graded WIB and an ordinary homogeneous WIB was measured and compared. The novel graded WIB was primarily composed of three layers of media with different physical and mechanical properties, and a concrete canvas was used as an interlayer between each layer.ResultsBy simulating different train speeds and loads, the subgrade settlement, vertical vibration velocity, frequency, and displacement were compared and analysed under various working conditions. Moreover, the vibration response of the subgrade soil was analysed using the vibration control equation.ConclusionsThe experimental results showed that the novel graded WIB had a better vibration isolation effect compared with the homogeneous WIB.
