摘要：

In the following article, we use various audio materials recorded in 1983, 2007, 2008, and 2011, Kemerovo Oblast, to study the Erzya Mordvin song folklore, namely calendar and circle songs, wedding songs and lamentations, including non-ritual songs that are sung under certain circumstances. Records of musical texts and lyrics received from Mordvin settlers in Siberia are analyzed in contrast with autochthonous traditions. While describing and contrasting the Kemerovo records with the European variations of the same songs, we pay special attention to certain lyrical, compositional, syllabic-rhythmic, and mode-melodic traits of these songs.
