摘要
This paper explored the calcium-magnesium-aluminosilicate (CMAS) corrosion resistance of Al2O3/ Y3Al5O12(YAG) directionally solidified eutectic (DSE) at 1500 & DEG;C for 4-100 h and disclosed the reaction process dominated by dissolution, precipitation, and in-situ growth and densification mechanisms. The recession depth of Al2O3/YAG DSE after corrosion at 1500 & DEG;C for 100 h is approximately 130 & mu;m, indicating its outstanding CMAS corrosion resistance among competing high temperature materials. The current result highlights the strategy to in-situ initiation of protective dense layer against CMAS corrosion and inspires the design of new high temperature structural components or environmental barrier coating in turbine engine.
