摘要
This paper investigates the potential of Alumina/Graphene Oxide (AGO) nanocomposite induced hydrolysed polyacrylamide (HPAM) polymer as a nanopolymer suspension for enhanced oil recovery in sandstone reservoirs. AGO nanocomposite was synthesised and characterised. AGO/HPAM nanofluids were prepared using HPAM with different concentrations of AGO nanocomposite. The impact of AGO nanofluid on interfacial tension (IFT), wettability, stability and rheology were analysed. Results obtained were compared with GO/HPAM and Alumina/HPAM nanofluids. The rheological properties of HPAM were improved with the addition of AGO nanocomposite. AGO/HPAM nanofluid reduced the IFT to 18.5 mN/m and the wettability of rock surface changed from oil-wet to strong water-wet condition, lowering the contact angle from 118.1 to 21.9 & DEG; for AGO/HPAM nanofluid. The core flooding experiment demonstrated that polymer flooding stabilised with AGO nanocomposite has significantly improved the oil recovery which was found to be 15.7% higher compared to pure polymer flooding.
