摘要
This work presents a numerical simulation of the atmospheric boundary layer related to thirteen experiments of the Prairie Grass project for stable atmospheric conditions. To model the turbulence, the Simplified k - epsilon Turbulence Model recently presented by Savicki and Goulart was used. The concentration equation is also solved to compare the numerical solution for the pollutant dispersion with the experimental data. To ensure that the atmospheric boundary layer remains horizontally homogeneous, the turbulence equations was solved using periodic boundary conditions, and the equivalent sand-grain roughness (k(s) ) was fitted in the well-known law of the wall for rough surfaces. Comparison of the numerical solution of the concentration equation with experimental values extracted from the Prairie-Grass project shows excellent agreement.
