摘要
On the basis of self-determination theory, this study examines how social media knowledge seeking invigorates flow-the feeling of being immersed in the task at hand. We argue that social media knowledge seeking positively affects flow experience through diversive curiosity. Performance goal orientation also plays a significant role in the moderated mediation process. Analysis of two-wave data collected from Indonesian employees in different industries shows that social media knowledge seeking enhances flow through diversive curiosity. This link is also prominent when performance goal orientation is high. The implications for social media knowledge seeking, diversive curiosity, performance goal orientation, and flow experience are discussed.
