摘要
In this study, the author theoretically investigates the effect of the external Rashba interaction on the properties of spin transport in a magnetic MoS2 superlattice. The results show that the spin conductance of the magnetic MoS2 superlattice heavily relied on the applied external magnetic field in the presence of more than one barrier. Moreover, the spin conductances with and without the spin-flip exhibited a gap, the size of which increased with the number of the barriers in the superlattice. The spin-dependent conductance in the magnetic MoS2 superlattice could be controlled by changing the number of barriers to the superlattice and the strength of the Rashba interaction. The spin polarization exhibited oscillating behavior in terms of the energy of the incident electron and the strength of the Rashba interaction. Remarkably, full-spin polarization could be achieved by using an MoS2 superlattice under an external magnetic field. The results of this study confirm that the magnetic MoS2 under the Rashba interaction can be used in spintronics and electronics devices in the future.
