No blood biomarkers which can identify Alzheimer's disease pathology in Lewy body disease (LBD) have ever been established. We showed that the plasma amyloid-ss (A ss) (1-42)/A ss(1- 40) ratio was significantly decreased in patients with A ss+ LBD compared with those with A ss- LBD and it might be a useful biomarker.
