摘要
Objective: In this study, it was aimed to compare parents of children with hearing impairment (with cochlear implant (CI) or hearing aid) and parents of children with normal hearing (NH) in terms of care burden, selfefficacy and psychological resilience levels. Methods: The study participants were parents of children aged 3-12 years. Zarit Care Burden Scale (ZCBS), Parental Self-Efficacy Scale (PSES) and Brief Psychological Resilience Scale (BPRS) were administered to the parents. Results: The mean BPRS score was statistically significantly higher for the NH group than for the hearing impairment groups. It was found that the mean ZCBS score was statistically significantly higher for CI group than for the other groups (p < 0.05). A statistically significant and positive correlation was found between the PSES and BPRS scores of the CI group. Conclusion: It is thought that the results of this study will contribute to the creation of case-specific intervention/ rehabilitation programs.
