摘要
Recently, borophene (B-R), a two-dimensional (2-D), crystalline allotrope of single-sheet boron, with a synergy of triangular lattice and hexagonal holes, have garnered great attention. The emergence of nanotechnology has resulted in embedment of nanomaterials within polymeric matrices to enhance a plethora of properties in polymeric nanoarchitectures thereby enlarging their scope of applications in a wide variety of sectors. Borophene, an analog of 2-D graphene (GN), has been utilized in functionalizing polymeric matrices to garner B-R polymeric nanoarchitectures with enhanced properties and multifunctional applications. Therefore, this elucidation presents the design, fabrication, characterization, and properties of B-R and B-R polymeric nanoarchitectures and multifacet applications.
