Investigation of elastic scattering cross-sections of electron with neon atoms

摘要
In the present study, Integral [QI(E)], Momentum transfer [QM(E)] and Total [QT(E)] cross-sections have been successfully determined for the elastic scattering of electrons with Neon (Ne) atoms in intermediate incident energy range (100 - 500 eV). The Partial Wave Analysis (PWA) method and modified absorption potential of Raj and Kumar, Phys. Letters A 282 (2001) 284 have been employed to investigate these cross-sections. The present results were compared with the existing experimental data and theoretical calculations for the different crosssections. These results were in better agreement with the existing studies of cross-sections.
