Hybrid Stability: Some notes about the hardcover

The digital transformation is grasping the media of literature and literary criticism at different speeds. The substitution of digital formats for the printed newspaper, the ancestral home of literary criticism, is progressing rapidly. On the book market, the printed hardcover is still a relatively stable element. The article comments on this difference in a media-historical perspective.
