A Dicationic Molten Salt Catalyzed Synthesis of 1,2,4-Triazolopyrimidine, Quinazolinone and Biscoumarin Derivatives under Green Conditions

摘要
In this study, 1,1'-(2-hydroxypropane-1,3-diyl)bis(1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octan-1-ium)chloride ([(DABCO)(2)C3H5OH]center dot 2Cl), a newly reported dicationic molten salt, was used for the efficient acceleration of the one-pot multicomponent synthesis of 1,2,4-triazolo pyrimidine, quinazolinone and biscoumarin derivatives. Simple operation, absence of hazardous and expensive organic solvents and reagents, simple work-up, and reusability of the catalyst are some of the advantages of this procedure.
