摘要：

In this paper, we study the problem of the existence of a primitive element alpha is an element of Fq such that f(alpha) is also primitive in Fq for a given non-exceptional f(x)is an element of Fq(x) with its degree sum greater than 1. We obtain a condition on q for the existence of such primitive elements when q equivalent to 3 (mod4) and f(x) belongs to the family of even or odd functions.
