摘要：
A case report focusing on primary focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) with high proteinuria in type 2 diabetes mellitus is presented. In this case, diabetes mellitus is not the main cause of the high proteinuria. Drugs of choice in primary FSGS are glucocorticoids, which made it necessary to augment oral antidiabetic therapy with human insulin at mealtimes. The proteinuria was clearly improved. As this case shows, interdisciplinary communication is of great importance in the treatment of diabetes mellitus.
