摘要
A theoretical investigation is made to study the properties of dust-magnetosonic (DMS) solitons in a magnetized electron-depleted dusty plasma that contains opposite polarity warm dust grains, and inertial ions. By using reductive perturbation technique (RPT), the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation is derived. There is the formation of only positive potential DMS solitons in the high plasma-beta limit. The effects of plasma parameter, viz., plasma-beta on the characteristics of DMS solitons are also studied numerically. The KdV equation is converted into planar dynamical systems using the Galilean transformation. Small-amplitude Sagdeev's pseudopotential curve and a phase portrait of the dynamical system have been used to characterize it. Periodic waves in homoclinic and periodic orbits in phase pictures are also examined in further relation to various plasma properties. The findings of the present investigation may be helpful in describing the characteristics of various nonlinear excitations in Earth's magnetosphere.
