A new species of Zygoribatula (Oribatida, Oribatulidae) - Z. mikhanatorum n. sp. - is described from plant debris between halophytes in the vicinity of salt lake Tobechikskoye, Crimea. An identification key to representatives of connexa-group within Zygoribatula is provided.
