摘要
In the text of this article, part of an ongoing master's degree research is presented, whose objective is to investigate and analyze the conceptions of Geography teachers in the state education network, specifically in Elementary School - Final Years, in the city of Palmas, in the state of Tocantins. With the understanding that the teaching of Geography must aim to form active and conscious citizens who participate in and in the construction of society, a bibliographical study with a qualitative approach is carried out, divided into two stages, the first presents the State of the art on Geography work. active methodologies and Geography teaching available at the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations - BDTD; in the second, there is a discussion about Curricular Guidelines and active methodologies in the teaching of Geography, how these methodologies can help in the two axes proposed by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and the Tocantins Curricular Document (DCT), student autonomy and geographic reasoning.
