摘要
Amine and polyamine-based materials have been widely cited as solid CO2 sorbents and as catalyst modifiers for CO2 electrochemical reduction, however, lab-scale research into a pilot or industrial-scale application is challenging, beginning with the identification of an effective adsorbent. In this investigation, a membrane with a strong affinity for the adsorption and ab-sorption of carbon dioxide is made by blending small molecular amines and a poly(allylamine) (PAA) solution. The membrane was characterized using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The results show that Ethylenediamine (EDA)/ Methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) is cross-linked with PAA via hydrogen bonds. We change the proportion of EDA/MDEA with PAA to determine the carbon dioxide separation and selectivity of membranes in ambient air. Results from the separation effectiveness deterioration test for MDEA and PAA, with the same ratio 7 wt% at 200 mbar pressure, show decreased CO2 concentrations of 98 and 35 ppm, respectively.
