Depressed carrier recombination for organic solar cells by doping IEICO-4F molecule

摘要
The organic solar cells achieve a higher power conversion efficiency (PCE) by introducing a slight of IEICO-4 F molecule into the PTB7-Th:PC71BM blended. The doping amount of IEICO-4 F is 0-10 wt%. The champion PCE of the device with 7 wt% IEICO-4 F doped can reach 9.8%, which is 15% higher than that of the device without doped. The device doped with IEICO-4 F has a significant improvement in short-circuit current density as a result of IEICO-4 F effectively depresses the carrier recombination of the active layer and enhances the capability of charge extraction of the devices.
