摘要
A highly efficient, simple, and environmental friendly protocol for the synthesis of 1-hydroxy-2-arylimidazole-3-oxide derivatives was devised using inexpensive and unconventional copper borate -(CuB4O7) catalyst under solvent-free condition. The documented method features a wide range of chemical substrate scope. All the products formed were characterized by different analytical and spectroscopic techniques. [Graphics] .
