摘要
Hotel decision-makers grapple with the imperative of mitigating workplace fraud and theft to optimize employee performance and engagement. Consequently, this research endeavours to scrutinize the impact of interactional justice, procedural justice, and distributive justiceon employee performance, employing employee engagement as a mediating mechanism. Moreover, the study delves into the moderating influence of workplace crime, specifically manifesting as fraud and theft. Employing a simple random sampling methodology, data acquisition was executed through a questionnaire, with its items adapted from antecedent studies. The study successfully garnered 220 valid responses, and the amassed data underwent analysis via SPSS. The outcomes of the investigation underscore the positive influence of organizational justice facets, encompassing distributive justice, interactional justice, and procedural justice, on employee engagement. Furthermore, employee engagement positively impacts performance, and the study affirms its mediating role and the moderating influence of workplace crime. The findings offer valuable insights for hotel decision-makers and can be utilized by academics in future research.
