摘要
We demonstrate photonics-based heterodyne wireless communications with online digital signal processing (DSP) at transmission distance of over 13 m using high-gain Cassegrain antennas in the 300-GHz-band. A 130-Gbit/ s line data rate transmission is successfully realized with 16-QAM modulation within HD-FEC limit, which corresponds to a net data rate of 121 Gbit/s. To verify the capacity of the system, short-range wireless communications with various multi-level modulation formats (16- QAM, 32-QAM, and 64-QAM) are performed, and the highest net data rate of 140 Gbit/s is achieved with 16-QAM modulation. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first demonstration with largest distance-rate (m center dot bit/s) in 300-GHz band by employing the established online DSP equipped in real-time oscilloscope (RTO).
