Ambivalence of Technology in the Educational Process: an Analysis based on Hans Jonas

摘要
This article is not interested in philosophical speculation or in finding those responsible for the excessive use of technology, especially among younger people, but rather in analyzing its strength and importance in the educational process based on what, Hans Jonas states, that one of the hallmarks of technology it is ambivalence, and therefore, what presents itself as positive and which could be used for the most legitimate and proper purposes, has a threatening side to it, which in the long term could have the last word. A theoretical contribution is made based on the qualitative paradigm with a focus on bibliographic reviews, especially on Hans Jonas, aligned with the inductive method. The results indicate that access to the world occurs in one click, something that makes the technological world extremely seductive, with no possibility of going back in this scenario, forcing us to live with technology and find ways to organize our lives in light of it. . However, it is necessary that society, parents and teachers provide adequate monitoring and are able to assess what children need from technology in their development and training process, and that there is no decline in ethical values.
