摘要：

Pasteurella multocida is a facultative anaerobic and gram-negative bacteria. It lives in the upper airway of animals, especially dogs and cats. P. multocida infection commonly results in regional cellulitis, although septic shock complication is uncommon. Here, we report on a fatal case of septic shock developing from a natural knee joint infection. (c) 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
