摘要
The rise of social entrepreneurship is an evident fact, both in its recognition within the scientific community, as in the growing number of social enterprises, in the increase in government support, in its legal recognition, among others. Especially in contexts of economic crisis, governments do not hesitate to promote it as a possible way of economic and social growth. One of the possible strategies for its momentum is through education. Specifically, this article shows the results obtained in a research carried out in a Spanish public university, the University of Valencia, in relation to the study of the promotion and/ or teaching of social entrepreneurial skills. In this case, the procedure followed in the design, validation and implementation of the information collection instrument designed ad hoc is shown: the survey. Regarding the main results of the study, it can be gathered that the students in their last year of university degree at the University of Valencia believe that the amount of training perceived on indicators that best define social entrepreneurship is low; however, they consider that this training is important and necessary for their future; In addition, they also express little entrepreneurial intention, this being a secondary professional alternative.
