摘要
Several large-scale outdoor dynamic compaction model tests with energy levels, drop distances, masses and diameters of falling weight as variables, and different types of acceleration sensors are respectively designed in this paper to monitor inside soil mass, ground surface and falling weights dynamically. The following results are presented: the soil damping ratio changes with the increase of tamping times; at the same energy level, the horizontal reinforcement effect of a heavy falling weight on shallow and deep soil is better than a light falling weight and the ground surface vibration caused by heavy falling weight is small; the combination of tamping impulse and falling weight diameter is appropriate as the control standard of final cumulative settlement; the construction and detection of dynamic compaction can be assisted by the statistical relationship between the tamping impulse I, the impact time T and the single tamping settlement y. The results of this study are instructive for improving the construction quality of dynamic compaction.
