摘要
This meta-analysis compares the efficacy of high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) with conventional oxygen therapy in patients with acute heart failure (AHF). We comprehensively searched the PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Chinese Sino-Med, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and Chinese WanFang Med Online databases and identified 9 randomized controlled trials with 689 patients that compared HFNC with conventional oxygen therapy. We found that HFNC use in patients with AHF resulted in a significant improvement in their heart rate, respiratory rate, brain natriuretic peptide level, oxygen saturation, partial pressure of oxygen, intubation rate, left ventricular ejection fraction, and length of hospitalization. & COPY; 2023 Elsevier Inc.
