摘要
Six significant biomasses were examined in this communication to determine their respective thermodynamic performances. To recover the waste heat extracted from the HRSG, the proposed system integrates a gas turbine, a steam turbine, and a vapour absorption at the bottom. The investigation's sole goal is to determine how well thermodynamic processes perform from an energy, exergy, and environmental standpoint. The results reveal a clear trend wherein the increase in turbine inlet temperature from 1273 to 1473 K leads to a concurrent rise in both energy and exergy efficiencies. Additionally, apple bagasse material has the lowest energy and exergy efficiencies compared to solid waste material, which has the best thermodynamic performance of about (37.6% and 35.9%). Additionally, the combustion chamber (apple bagasse) is noted to have the highest exergy destruction at about 32.1%, followed by the HRSG and gasifier at about 16.3% and 11.3%, respectively.
