This research analyzes the factors that affect the delinquency of the credit portfolio of the Biblian Cooperative, which has suffered complex scenarios in the credit portfolio, caused by the declaration of the sanitary emergency (COVID-19) and the restrictions in the development of the productive activities of the population. The objective of this research is to determine the factors that affect the level of delinquency of the credit portfolio of the Cooperative, for this purpose a quantitative study was applied, with a descriptive level of depth: non-experimental with a mixed approach and according to the inference is deductive, with a cross-sectional period. Data were collected through surveys, interviews and documentary review, applying methods such as: historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, and inductive-deductive. From the information analyzed during fiscal year 2021, it is evident that there is a decrease in credit placements, generating lower profits in relation to the previous year. Therefore, it is concluded that the COVI-19 pandemic caused the family economy to contract and therefore the noncompliance with its obligations.
